Moravany (German Morbes) is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.64 square kilometres (2.56 sq mi), and has a population of 1,588 (as at 3 July 2006).
Moravany lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Brno and 188 km (117 mi) south-east of Prague.
