Vranov is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 12.41 square kilometres (4.79 sq mi), and has a population of 639 (as at 3 July 2006).
Vranov lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Brno and 181 km (112 mi) south-east of Prague.
