Unknown Name

Theodore Roosevelt's Vice President (Southern Victory)

In the Southern Victory Series by Harry Turtledove, the identity of Theodore Roosevelt's Vice President is one of Turtledove's most glaring inconsistencies. In the course of the series, Turtledove provided this individual two names, Kennan and Walter McKenna. Kenna was introduced as he is sworn in for his second term in 1917 in Great War: Breakthroughs. However, Vice President Walter McKenna, an "amiable non-entity who was almost as fat as Congress man William Howard Taft" appears in American Empire: Blood and Iron.
