Miss Universe Iceland is a national Beauty pageant in Iceland which set to compete at the Miss Universe pageant. This pageant is unrelated to Miss Iceland contest.
History
Began in 2016 Former Miss Iceland 2002, Manuela Ósk Harðardóttir and Jorge Esteban took the Miss Universe franchise to Iceland.[1][2] Before creating Miss Universe Iceland, the Miss Iceland (Ungfru Island) winners gained the right to represent Iceland in Miss Universe. As of 2010, the Miss Iceland dropped the Miss Universe license.[3]
