Kanhachatti (Hindi: कान्हाचट्टी ) is a community development block that forms an administrative division in Chatra subdivision of Chatra district, Jharkhand state, India. Kanhachatti is located 25 km from Chatra.

Demographics

As per 2011 Census of India Kanhachatti CD Block had a total population of 63,012, all of which were rural. There were 32,112 males and 30,900 females. Scheduled Castes numbered 20,308 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 2,016.[3]

Literacy

As per 2011 census the total number of literates in Kanhachatti Block was 32,592 out of which 19,379 were males and 13,213 were females.[3]
