Subdivision |
Simaria subdivision is an administrative division of Chatra district in Jharkhand, India.
History
The subdivision was created in March 2014. It is composed of Simaria Block, Tandwa Block, Lawalong (community development block), Pathalgada Block and Gidhour Block.[1]
Geography
Simaria Kalan is located at 24°03′43″N 84°56′10″E / 24.0619°N 84.9360°E. It has an average elevation of 537 metres (1,762 ft).[2]
Economy
NTPC Limited is constructing the 3 X 660 MW North Karanpura Thermal Power Station at Tandwa at an appraised current (2015) estimated cost of Rs 14,366.58 crore.[3]
