Athletics

Sri Lankan athletes have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following athletics events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event):[1][2]
- Men's javelin throw – 1 quota place (Sumeda Ranasinghe)[3]
- Men's marathon – 1 quota place (Anuradha Cooray)[4]
- Women's marathon – 1 quota place (Niluka Geethani Rajasekara)[5]
Judo

Sri Lanka has received an invitation from the Tripartite Commission to send a judoka competing in the men's lightweight category (73 kg), signifying the nation's Olympic debut in the sport.[6]
